River Bend Film Festival Trophies

As a part of the Northern Indiana Clay Alliance, I was commissioned to produce 6 trophies for the award winers of the film festival. This award was for "Spirit of the Fest."

This shape is called a "Ginger Jar" and is a traditional form utilized across multiple cultures for this type of cobalt painting. For this commission, I painted a version of the River Bend Film Festival logo into a film strip to capture the spirit of the award.

All six Ginger Jars are displayed here. While I did focus on some uniformity across the collection, I worked to give each one has its own personality.
